Admissions

Parents and carers can apply for admission to schools within Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council or neighbouring local authority schools by completing the online application form on the Blackburn with Darwen Council Families Information Service Online. You must not complete the application form of any other Council. Parents and carers are advised to read all the information below and the individual school admission policies before submitting your application form.

• Secondary school applications are open from 4 September 2025 until 31 October 2025.

• Primary school applications are open from 4 September 2025 until 15 January 2026.
